GREEN WASTE INFORMATION

As it begins to get warm outside, there are lots of people curious about the Green Waste program in Wellsville.

If you would like a Green Waste Container that is dumped weekly (beginning April 1, 2024) you can call the city office and request one to be delivered to your home.  Waste Management (who handles our garbage services) charges a one-time $25 delivery fee for each container.  The fee for these containers is $5/per month with a 1 year commitment.  However, we have been notified that to continue this service weekly, Waste Management will be increasing the $5/per month fee to $10.50/per month.  If you would like to cancel this service, please call Waste Management at 1-866-909-4458 prior to April 1st.

The BULK Green Waste Site that was formerly located on the north side of the cemetery is no longer in service.  Wellsville City is working on finding a solution for our BULK Green Waste.  Please watch for a YELLOW flyer in your mail.
