WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA

Wellsville has the opportunity to honor our deceased veterans again this year.  There are over 360 veterans buried in our cemetery, and we would like to see a wreath placed on each of their graves this Christmas Season.  Thanks to the generous offering of the Wellsville Community, we accomplished this goal last year and think we can do it again in 2024.

December 14, 2024 is National Wreaths Across America Day and Wellsville will join in with a short program at our cemetery beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Placement of the Christmas Wreaths on our Veteran’s graves will follow this program.  Individuals and families are encouraged to attend and help with the placement of the wreaths.  Parents, this is an excellent opportunity to teach your children respect and honor for those who have served our country.  Light refreshments will be available.

Sponsoring a wreath costs $17.  These wreaths are made of natural pine boughs.  They are not small, cheap items, but decent sized, high-quality wreaths that are handmade with love and long-lasting quality.

There are two ways to make your donation:

2. Make a check payable to Wellsville City to the city offices at 75 East Main, PO Box 6 Wellsville, UT  84339.  Please note your payment is for Veteran’s Wreath Program
