House Numbers

Posted on Jul 3rd 2010 by City Staff.

The fire department would like to remind residents to be aware that house numbers should be at least 3″ high and should be clearly visible from the road. This can help the fire department and/or first responders locate your home quicker in an emergency and save precious time.

Smoke detector batteries also need to be replaced periodically. If you have any questions please contact Clint Kerr at 757-3376

‘Windows of Wellsville’ Books

Posted on Apr 30th 2010 by City Staff.

There have been several requests regarding a reprint of the Windows of Wellsville book. This book contains information about Wellsville’s history for the years 1856-1984. If the book was to be reprinted, we anticipate a copy would cost $60-$65 each; however, if a large enough quantity is pre-ordered, we may be able to see the books at a slightly lower cost. Orders would need to be pre-paid before the books could be ordered. Please contact the Wellsville City Office by June 30,2010 to place your order.
