Wellsville City is now accepting applications for the upcoming 2013 Founders’ Day. Founders’ Day this year will be on Monday September 2nd. You can download a copy of the application with complete instructions on the Forms page (see Forms under Find It Fast in the left-hand column) or at this link.
July 14th @ 6:30 pm. The Music in the Park will be a variety of music provided by Singing for Cache (Kurtis Wood, Wade Miller, David Gardner, Sam Winward) and The Broadbent Family Singers (Alma Broadbent, his wife, and 4 of their 6 kids ages 5-12). Bring your blankets and chairs to the East side of the tabernacle. There will be music for all ages to enjoy!
July 19th Concert in the Park for Teenagers (but families are invited too 🙂 Come and listen to some great bands under a summer sky. July 19th from 6-9 pm – on the lawn south of the Tabernacle. Asking for donations of $3 per person or $5 per family for the Wellsville City Youth Council
On July 1 the City Council voted to place the following restrictions on the use of fireworks within Wellsville City limits.
Fireworks are prohibited in the following areas until further notice:
* South of 900 South to the city boundary
* North of 400 North to the city boundary
* West of 200 West to the city boundary
In other areas of the city fireworks can be discharged on the following dates between the hours of 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. except as noted:
* July 1 – July 7 (July 4th hours extended to midnight)
* July 21 – July 27 (July 24th hours extended to midnight)
* December 31 (11a.m. – 1:00 a.m.)
* Chinese New Year’s Eve (11:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.)
If dry conditions continue additional restrictions may be necessary.
