It’s almost time for Founders’ Day in Wellsville!  The traditions continue with the valley’s best parade, softball tournaments, golf and tennis tournaments, the Wellsville Stampede semi-pro rodeo, the ever popular Little Buckaroo Rodeo, Saturday night Dance, the moving Patriotic Sunday evening program (and the announcement of this year’s Outstanding Citizen), the Fireman’s Breakfast, 5k, 10k and kids K races; the Sham Battle, free watermelon bust, the arts crafts and photography displays, music in the park, dutch oven dinner, 3 on 3 basketball, horseshoe tournament, children’s games, vendor booths for food and items to purchase, the annual quilt drawing, and much more.

There is something for everyone. Plan on attending and having a great time!

Just a reminder there is NO PARKING on 100 East between Main and 100 South in front of the Tabernacle on Monday, September 3rd. Vehicles will be towed.

New to this year’s Founders’ Day Celebration is a Draft Horse Pull. It takes place on Wednesday August 29 starting at 7:00 p.m at the Wellsville Arena. Admission is free.

The Antique Tractor Pull will be on Monday September 3rd starting at 1:00 p.m. The Pull has moved to a new location this year – on the North side of the Wellsville cemetery. Admission is free.

This year is the 4th Annual Semi-Pro Rodeo on Friday and Saturday evenings, August 31st and September 1st. This is an offical Rocky Mountain Professional Rodeo Association event and starts both nights at 7:30 p.m. Admission is just $6 for ages 5 years and up. Concessions are available.
