The Wellsville Dam is open to fishing year-round. As a Utah Community Fishery the Wellsville Dam is subject to special regulations. Briefly these special regulations include:
* The dam is open to fishing only when the Wellsville Park is open. Wellsville parks are open one hour prior to dawn and close at dark.
* There is a daily bag and possession limit combination of 2 fish (includes all species of fish).
* As on all state fishing waters, a Utah fishing license is required.
All people fishing or hunting in Utah are required to know and comply with state fishing and hunting regulations.

The average bath takes 30-50 gallons of water!
Water lost in a single day from a facuet dripping one drop of water per second is 190 gallons!
The average family of four uses 250 gallons of water in the home a day!
The only water we will ever have is what we now have!
Over 42,000 gallons of water (enough to fill a 30×50 foot swimming pool) are needed to grow and prepare the food for a typical Thanksgiving dinner for eight!
Thanks to all of our residents for the efforts they make to conserve water.
