Wellsville City is joining with the Cache County Sheriff’s Office and the Cache County Emergency Response Team (CERT) Council to offer an 8-week course for people interested in learning how to take care of themselves, their families, and their communities in an emergency.

There is no fee for the course, however training material and supplies (manual, ID card, instruction materials, and basic CERT kit) will cost approximately $48.00. Wellsville City will reimburse $30.00 to city residents who successfully complete this course (requires attending all 8 classes). Dates: Thursdays beginning September 2,
Time: 6:30 p.m. Each class lasts for aproximately 2-1/2 hours.
Location: Cache County Sheriffs Office, 1225 West Valley View Highway, Logan. 
Ages: 18 years and older

In addition to the weekly training, the course ends on Tuesday Oct. 26th with a simulated emergency held at the Logan City Fire Department Training Tower.
