Attention all veterans and active duty military personel: Please join in the Annual Veteran’s Photo taken each year immediately following the Memorial Day Program honoring our veterans. The program will begin at 10:00 on Monday May 31, at the Veterans Monument in the Wellsville Cemetery. Please encourage your friends and relatives who are veterans to come join with us.

A special Memorial Day Veteran’s program will be presented at the Veteran’s Mounument at the Wellsville Cemetery on Monday, May 31st at 10:00 am. The program will include a flag raising ceremony, music, remarks by an honored speaker, the reading of the names of all verterans buried in the Wellsville Cemetery, and the playing of Taps.

Please join us in honoring those who have served our country. A limited number of seats will be available, so we encourage you to bring your own lawn chairs.

A special thanks goes out to Ray Bankhead for his 50+ years of service placing flags on each veteran’s grave.

Kids up to the age of 15 are invited for a free Fishing Derby day at the Wellsville Dam. The event will be held on Saturday June 5th from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. There will be fun hourly prizes, along with a prize for the biggest fish caught. Volunteers will be available to help those fishing for the first time. June 5th is Utah’s Free Fishing Day so no license if required. For more information or if you would like to help, please call Brett Jorgensen at 245-4323. This is a free event.

The June 19th Concert in the Park, featuring The 4 Hims, has been canceled due to conflicting schedules.
