Wellsville City, Utah is requesting sealed bids from contractors to bid on a project that is located in a Waste Water Lagoons site. The project will divert secondary water flow from Primary lagoons directly to an existing disinfection building (see civil sheet set), and consists of the installation of a new pipeline and air line to service future equipment.
Address of said project is approximately 3800 South and 3400 West in Wellsville.
Plans and specifications (civil sheet sets) may be picked up at the Wellsville City Offices at 75 East Main in Wellsville or at the office of Land Design Engineering at 7412 South State Street, Suite 201, Midvale, Utah from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. upon receipt of $40.00 for each set (non-refundable).
Sealed bids are due at the Wellsville City Offices at 75 East Main on July 8, 2009 at 12:00 noon, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any questions are to be directed to Carey Johanson at 801-495-2541.

Wellsville City Notice of Elections
Wellsville City will hold its municipal elections during 2009 as follows:
Primary Election: Tuesday September 15, 2009 (if needed)
General Election: Tuesday November 3, 2009
Offices open to file for:
Mayor – 4 year term
Councilperson (2 seats) – 4 year term
Wellsville City elections are non-partisan, and are elected on an at-large basis.
Candidate Qualifications:
* Must be a United States citizen at the time of filing for candidancy.
* Be at least 18 years old at the time of the next Municipal General election.
* Be a legal resident of Wellsville City, or a resident of the recent annexed area, for 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of election.
* Be a registered voter of Wellsville.
Candidate Filing Dates: July 1, 2009 – July 15, 2009, Monday through Friday with the exception of Friday July 3, 2009, during which the City Offices will be closed for a holiday. File between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Filing Procedure: During the above stated dates and times, any person interested in filing as a candidate must file a Declaration of Candidacy in person with the Wellsville City Recorder at 75 East Main in Wellsville.
